Gwendolin Lewis is an Award Winning artist, based in Newcastle and her
contemporary solo exhibition SOFT PASTELS is the first viewing of her
painting practice in Sydney. CORNER GALLERY STANMORE .
With a background in oils and soft pastels she chooses Soft Pastels for this
exhibition combining it with Gouache Charcoal and Spirit to enliven and
give fluidity to the mark making. Gwendolin infuses her works with a
sense of reality. drawing inspiration from the organic and intricate forms found
within our natural world.
