I always feel a tingle of excitement when I see a box of pastels…because its like drawing and painting at the same time.The soft buttery textures or the crisp lines all make Pastel a versatile medium to work with, and if it doesn’t turn out the way you wanted, it can be rubbed away , it’s a very forgiving medium.
